Fun and Games

I love playing games in my classroom.  It makes the day go by faster, makes learning more fun, allows laughter to take place, and allows the kids to move around in the classroom.
At the end of each unit (or quarter), we celebrate with a Fun Day!  Sometimes it happens to be a movie and snack (The POLAR EXPRESS PJ Party), sometimes it happens to be food parties (Taco Party Invitations), or sometimes it happens to be playing games.
At the end of this quarter, we celebrated by playing simple minute to win it games and STEM activities.  My teaching partner Aimee from Taking on Second and I decided to split the two up.  She was in charge of the STEM activities.  I was in charge of the minute to win it games. These are just a few of the games we played.
Marshmallow Challenge
Post-It Note Challenge
M and M Challenge
Fruit Loop Challenge
Straw Challenge
I put all of the games we played into one pack.  You can find them by clicking here.  Several of them are educational games with a fun twist.  These games require the students to use the brain and think fast!  Of course, there are many "just for fun" ones too.  But be  prepared for a mess!! when you are finished.

Donations:  Many items you might find at the Dollar Tree.  Other items, I asked my parents to donate (it took very few students to donate stuff).  This saved me a few bucks.

Have fun and enjoy a day or few hours of learning and laughter!
The product contains a list of materials needed, and directions to complete each of the 14 minute to win it games and activities.
Have a great day and God Bless!
